199. I feel like I should have waited until tomorrow to make it an even 200 😂.
There’s been a plot twist in the hunt for a “real job”. This is a good plot twist for sure, even though I am not looking forward to working away from home. It’s been so long since I’ve had to do that and it makes me a tad nervous 😬.
If you were here to read one of my recent “day” posts, you may recall that there were really only three job options for me in this middle of the boonies location. The overnight one that I wanted was only available on a drop-in basis. Turns out that the person who wanted the job originally did not work out, so it is now available as a part time job. Now, I am not sure what part time means anymore but it could be anywhere between 2 shifts or up to 35 hours I spose. Sounds perfect to me. My official hire date was last week and I’ve been doing online training, love the educational credits even though it’s time consuming 😎. I start my first overnight shift next Sunday! Way to go me 😁.
I’ve been trying to get my stuff organized for the upcoming days but have been neglecting my art projects. New magnets and stickers may have to wait a while, but there’s plenty up in my shop at the moment so – not worried about it.
My kiddo is coming back to MN in August for the annual family cabin vacation. Super excited about that, it’s been forEVER. I miss her so much 😭. Growing up sucks 🤣.
