Game Informer

Discovering the latest issue of Game Informer in my mailbox is always a highlight of my month 😎. My favorite section to read is the monthly feedback πŸ˜‚. I know I should really be getting the digital version but I love getting my printed Game Informer for many reasons.

The cover art is always superb regardless if I’m invested in the featured game. There’s few game magazines available anymore (based in the US & not focused on PC Gaming) and I’m showing my support for a MN company.

I worked as a temp in a magazine/newspaper print shop (shop is the wrong word, that place was HUGE) a while back and I was so excited when I realized it was where these beautiful magazines were printed. A lot of hard work goes into the production of printed works and it was just a really interesting experience and I hope that the art of this form of manufacturing doesn’t get lost to the digital world. That’s not because I don’t care about the environment (which I do). There’s always room for improvement and innovation, without sacrificing the environment and jobs that lots of folks rely on.

Do you have a favorite printed magazine? I’d love to hear about it!
